tangerine health llc is a california limited liability company at 32932 pacific coast hwy 14 ste 299, dana point, ca 92629. in this policy, “tangerine health”, “we” and “us” mean tangerine health llc. questions about this policy go to contact@tangerinehealth.us.

what we collect

we collect information you give us, information we create, information we and our partners collect automatically when you use tangerine health, and information we get from others. for example:

account and contact details. your name, email address, password, addresses and preferences. this includes details you give us in the assessment or at checkout, even if you don't create an account. if you sign in with google or another sign-in provider, it shares details such as your name, email address, profile picture and account id. it does not share your password with us.

assessment answers. your answers to our health and lifestyle questions. these can include your goals, symptoms, diagnosed physical and mental health conditions, cancer treatment, recent or planned surgery, medications, allergies and past reactions, pregnancy and hormonal status, body measurements, diet, activity, alcohol, sleep, the supplements you take, whether you pay with an HSA or FSA, and anything you type in your own words. we may keep your answers even if you don't create an account or buy anything.

information we create. this includes your plan, the reasons we give for each item, notes from any review of your plan, and other conclusions we draw from your answers and activity.

orders and payments. what you buy, your shipping address and your order history. our payment providers handle your card details. we keep a reference to your card, not the full number.

messages. the messages we send you, such as email, and the messages you send us. we may also collect whether our messages reach you and whether you open them or click their links.

device and usage information. this can include your ip address, browser, device type, general location and how you use our site and services. we and our service providers collect this through cookies and similar technologies. analytics and advertising partners we work with may collect it too.

information from others. we may get information about you from others, such as sign-in providers, payment partners, practitioners, service providers, and analytics and advertising partners.

how we use it

we use information to run tangerine health. that includes building and reviewing your plan, filling and shipping orders, running subscriptions, sending messages about your account and orders, answering support requests, and keeping our services secure and preventing fraud.

we also use it to research, develop and improve our products, services and technology, including the tools and ai models we use to build plans. we may use past assessments and plans as examples when we build other people's plans, including in prompts to ai models, and when we test and tune how we build plans.

we use information for marketing. we may personalise our marketing, including email, using your plan, assessment answers, orders and other information. we may also work with analytics and advertising providers to measure, personalise and improve our marketing and advertising. every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. unsubscribing does not stop messages about your orders or account.

we also use information to meet legal obligations, to enforce our terms, and for other purposes we tell you about when we collect it.

who we share it with

we share information with service providers that help us run tangerine health. these include providers of payments, email, hosting and databases, error monitoring, ai models, fulfilment and shipping. they can also include analytics and advertising providers.

if you pay with an HSA or FSA, you complete payment with our HSA/FSA payment partner. that partner and the licensed providers it works with handle your information under their own privacy policies.

people who work with us, such as staff, contractors and the practitioners who review plans, may access your information to do their work. we may also share information with companies under common ownership with us and with our professional advisers. we may share it when the law requires it, to protect our rights or anyone's safety, or when you ask us to. if we sell or reorganise all or part of our business, we may share it with a buyer or successor.

we don't sell your personal information for money. some state laws treat certain advertising cookies as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. the “your choices” section below explains how to opt out.

how long we keep it

we keep information for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, including our legal, tax and accounting obligations. this includes assessment answers from people who never create an account or buy. we may keep some records, such as your agreement to recurring billing, after you close your account.

your choices

you can update some details in your account, such as your address, cards and preferences, and manage or cancel your subscription there. to see or change other information, such as your name or email address, email contact@tangerinehealth.us. you can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any marketing email.

depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information. these can include the right to see it, correct it, delete it, get a copy of it, and opt out of targeted advertising or the sale or sharing of it. to make a request, email contact@tangerinehealth.us or use another method we offer. we may need to confirm your identity first. someone you authorise can also make a request for you. we won't treat you differently because you use your privacy rights.

if we decline your request, you can ask us to reconsider by emailing contact@tangerinehealth.us. if we still decline, you can contact your state attorney general.

we, our service providers and other partners may use cookies and similar technologies, such as your browser's storage, for purposes such as keeping you signed in, remembering your cart and any assessment in progress, keeping our site secure, and understanding how people use it. analytics and advertising providers we work with may use cookies to measure and personalise ads. they may also collect information about your activity on our site and other sites over time.

you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. some parts of the site may not work without them.

our site does not respond to “do not track” signals from browsers.

where the law requires, we treat a browser privacy signal, such as global privacy control, as a request to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale or sharing of your information.

we use safeguards such as encryption in transit to protect your information. no security is perfect. if we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.

children

tangerine health is for adults. we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. if you believe we have, email contact@tangerinehealth.us and we will take steps to delete it.
